First Hydrogen Truck in the World
First Hydrogen Truck in the World was designed and developed by Anglo American and First Mode jointly

In May 2022, Anglo American and First Mode collaborated to create the world's first hydrogen-powered mining truck. This massive machine, designed for heavy-duty hauling at a South African platinum mine, marked a crucial step towards reducing emissions in the mining sector.
Fast forward to 2024, a Chinese startup named Hybot unveiled the H49, claiming the title of the world's first commercial gaseous-hydrogen truck. This truck boasts an impressive range of over 1,000 kilometers, showcasing the potential of hydrogen fuel cell technology for long-distance trucking.
Both these projects demonstrate the significant strides being made in hydrogen fuel cell technology for the transportation industry, offering a cleaner alternative to traditional diesel-powered trucks
